There are Christmas Carols, Hanukah candles, buying gifts, dressing up, shopping, over extending, rushing, traveling , etc., It’s a busy time. Usually it’s a very melancholy time for me but for many reasons, it’s not this year. This year I’m just happily busy with lots to do. There’s my son’s 60th birthday to think about. There are Hanukah gifts and Xmas gifts and my new special present to myself , a little studio! I have been thinking about renting a studio for a long time and I signed a month to month lease today! There is a section in town, in Santa Barbara, called the "Funk Zone” and it kind of reminds me of the beginning of the old Venice, where I had a studio, many years ago. I’m going to take photos there and maybe do some writing and drawing in this little quiet spot surrounded by other artists and galleries. I’m excited about this. ![]() And then of course I’m looking forward to spending time with my children and grandchildren during their vacations. When you get right down to it, it’s really all about our families or the family of friends we have created. Bottom line, that’s the best there is. And then comes clothes and jewelry (just kidding)! Bob and I are going for a little 3 day trip to one of our favorite places, in Sedona for New Years and we are looking forward to that! We have much to be grateful for whether we are singing Hark the Herald Angels Sing or Dreidel Dreidel!
We have much to be grateful for whether we are singing Hark the Herald Angels Sing or Dreidel Dreidel . Personally, I love both of them. I wish you, all my friends a year of health , contentment and joy. Let’s ring in 2018 together and look forward to peace in the world and in our hearts in the coming year. Love to All, Beverlye
